Eclipse Solar 2017

EPL has activities planned to celebrate the Solar Eclipse on Aug. 21st. Join us for the following: 12:20-1:30 pm: Live streaming of the eclipse 2 pm: Presentation by Kyle Grems, ELC Middle School Science Teacher 10 am- 6 pm: Learn and see what happens on the sun, or examine a partial or total eclipse to find all its features through our Solar Vision app 10 am-6 pm: Explore a NASA tactile book to feel the interaction and alignment of the sun with the moon and earth 10 am- 6 pm: Play the how hot sort game 10 am-6 pm: Travel to the moon using our Space Stage app *Free Solar Eclipse glasses will be given away along with safety tips. These activities are free and open to the public and are part of the EPL partnership with NASA @ My Library.
